Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking a Senior eDiscovery Technician to join our legal team supporting a large Federal agency. You will log productions, assess cover letters, perform virus scans, determine processing needs for Relativity, and ensure data completeness.

This full-time on-site role in Fairfax, VA requires three years of eDiscovery experience, a Bachelor's degree, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Three years of eDiscovery technical experience.
• Bachelor's degree required; substitution with additional relevant work experience is possible.
• Knowledge of information resources and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Log productions in the Agency's eDiscovery Tracking System.
• Digest long cover letters and describe the production.
• Obtain password from producing party if encrypted media; load readiness assessment.
• Determine if cover letters contain substantive info for Relativity loading.
• Virus scan productions off-network and coordinate issue resolution.
• Copy clean productions to the Agency's network and follow protocol for various document types.
• Analyze productions to determine processing type and protocol; ensure completeness.
• Monitor incoming productions via email and FTP; prepare paper docs for loading.
