Job summary

Bunzl Safety Division is seeking an EDI Coordinator to oversee coordination, maintenance, and optimization of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems across the organization. This on-site role is based in Collierville, TN, and serves as the liaison between internal teams, trading partners, and EDI service providers.

You will manage end-to-end EDI operations, monitor data accuracy, and lead onboarding of new trading partners while collaborating with stakeholders to drive process improvements

Qualifications

• 3 years of EDI experience or 5 years of related IT or operations experience.
• Strong understanding of EDI standards and transactions including 850, 855, 856, 810, and 846.
• Experience with EDI platforms, translation software, service providers, and trading partner integrations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Sage X3, SAP, or similar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end EDI operations including transaction processing, trading partner integrations, and ERP connectivity.
• Monitor EDI transaction flow, system performance, and data accuracy to ensure reliable processing.
• Maintain EDI maps, configurations, and standards to support business and trading partner requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve EDI communication, mapping, integration, and data transmission issues.
• Lead onboarding, testing, and implementation of new trading partners and EDI transactions.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, optimize processes, and identify system improvement opportunities.
• Support the planning, testing, deployment, and post-implementation validation of system enhancements and upgrades.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, process flows, diagrams, and system specifications.
• Provide end-user training and ongoing support for EDI processes and related system functionality.
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that enhance EDI capabilities, efficiency, and scalability.
