Job summary

Hermann Services is seeking an EDI Analyst to own the electronic data interchange program from setup to execution. You will establish EDI connections with new customers and partners, map transactions, and ensure seamless data flow between our systems and theirs.

The role requires hands-on EDI experience (2+ years), knowledge of ANSI X12, and the ability to troubleshoot failed or missing transactions. Onboarding partners and maintaining mappings will be daily duties, with emphasis on

Qualifications

Hands-on EDI experience (2+ years) in transport, logistics, 3PL or warehousing.
Strong knowledge of ANSI X12 structure (ISA/GS/ST envelopes).
Experience onboarding trading partners from implementation guides.

Responsibilities

Own the EDI program from start to finish, set up connections with customers and trading partners.
Build and maintain ANSI X12/EDIFACT maps for transportation and warehousing transactions such as 204, 990, 214, 210, 940, 945, 943, 944, 947, 997/999, 856, 850, 810.
Troubleshoot and resolve failed, rejected, or missing transactions; fix syntax and mapping errors; monitor EDI traffic daily.
Manage communications over AS2, SFTP/FTP, VAN and API; coordinate changes with trading partners.
Collaborate with operations, billing and IT to ensure EDI data flows to TMS, WMS and accounting systems.
Serve as partner contact for EDI questions and scorecards; document specs, profiles, testing records, and procedures.
Seek automation opportunities, reduce manual work, and implement monitoring/alerts.
