Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an EDI Analyst to own our electronic data interchange program from start to finish. You will set up EDI connections with new customers and trading partners, map transactions, and ensure data flows between systems.

When issues occur, you will diagnose root causes and implement fixes. You will onboard partners, structure maps for ANSI X12 and EDIFACT, and support transportation and warehousing workflows while collaborating with IT, operations and billing to keep processes

Qualifications

• Proficient in building and maintaining EDI maps and schemas.
• Experience onboarding trading partners from guides to live connection.
• Strong analytical skills for resolving failed or missing transactions.
• Clear communicator with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end EDI program from setup to live operations.
• Map ANSI X12/EDIFACT messages for transportation and warehousing flows.
• Monitor daily EDI traffic, troubleshoot failures, and fix root causes.
• Manage connections over AS2, SFTP/FTP, VAN and API.
• Collaborate with operations, billing, and IT to ensure data flow.
• Communicate with partners and maintain partner scorecards.
• Document mapping specs, partner profiles, and procedures.
• Look for automation and monitoring improvements.
