Job summary

Morton Industries LLC in Morton, IL, is seeking an Order Analyst to ensure customer demand and order data are accurate and timely. The role centers on daily validation of firm and forecast EDI demand and coordinating New Part and New PO workflows.

You will collaborate with Customer Service Representatives, Account Managers, Scheduling, Purchasing, and Quality teams, loading pricing in Epicor and supporting KPI reporting. Proficiency in Excel and ERP/EDI experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2-3 years of relevant customer service or order management experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred; Epicor is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Excel; ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies.
• Experience with EDI transactions and EDI demand review preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary owner of the daily EDI demand review for customers that utilize EDI.
• Compare current-day firm and forecast demand against the previous day to identify changes.
• Communicate significant demand changes to the appropriate teams.
• Validate questionable customer demand with the Account Manager.
• Review purchase-order changes for EDI customers and identify discrepancies.
• Monitor New Part/New PO workflows in Epicor and follow up to prevent delays.
• Load and maintain pricing and effective dates in Epicor.
• Support KPI reporting and develop additional metrics.
• Ensure pricing alignment with customer buyers and Account Managers.
• Review customer portals for demand, POs, forecasts, pricing; support quotes.
• Monitor customer-specific ordering requirements.
• All other duties as assigned.
