Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume corporate Accounts Payable environment with vendor relationships, billing practices, payment terms, and payment processing.
• Ability to read and interpret EDI segments and elements.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end Accounts Payable processes with exposure to stock replenishment and drop ship activity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and identify root causes.

Responsibilities

• Data analysis to identify EDI transaction errors, data discrepancies, and opportunities to improve processing accuracy and efficiency.
• Evaluate EDI exception errors, unusual transactions, and process gaps to determine root causes and collaborate with vendors for sustainable solutions.
• Develop KPI scorecards on invoice processing accuracy rate, EDI rejection rate, and types of errors.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve EDI processes and workflows, increasing efficiency and overall effectiveness.
• Lead cross-functional teams through the EDI error resolution process to drive accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide training and continuous support to business partners and A/P team members.
• Collaborate with the manager to oversee daily operations of the department.
