Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide scheduled and remedial service on small to mid-size UPS, PDU, and battery systems (2–120KVA). You will work on-site, travel as required, and support Vertiv’s Edge market segment including retail, financial, and municipal customers.

You will perform service tasks under supervision or independently after training, keep safety guidelines, and provide timely documentation and customer communication.

Qualifications

• ASEET/AMEET or progress towards is preferred.
• High School or Vocational School Diploma or equivalent needed.
• 2-4 years military experience in a related technical field is favored.
• 0-2 years of relevant industry experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks per company policies and procedures.
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on issues.
• Maintain safety and compliance with guidelines.
• Complete administrative tasks and reports.
• Strive for first-time fix on equipment.
