Job summary

Persona is seeking an engineer to own edge networking configuration and drive the ingress layer across our global architecture. You will shape how engineering teams configure, observe, and extend traffic routing with a Cloudflare-backed edge.

You will enable self-service capabilities and ensure performance improvements translate into tangible client outcomes. You will influence SDLC, AI tooling, and chaos engineering practices while collaborating with a growing team to deliver scalable

Qualifications

Experience building and shipping production services in a polyglot environment (Go, TypeScript, or similar).
Experience diagnosing production issues at the network layer (proxies & load balancers).
Kubernetes networking in practice: ingress controllers, DNS, network policies.
Infrastructure as code in practice with change safety & governance.
Experience building internal platforms or tools with broad engineering adoption.

Responsibilities

Own edge networking configuration: routing, WAF policy, rate limiting, certificate management.
Evolve the ingress layer (controllers, lifecycle, policy, Ingress API) for reliability and self-service.
Manage DNS across internal clusters and external zones for seamless resolution.
Build network-layer observability: latency, error rates, routing visibility.
Support Persona's regional expansion with scalable, performant networking.
Shape team practices and standards (SDLC, AI tooling, chaos engineering, simulations).
