Job summary

EY is seeking a Staff Internet Ingress & Edge Engineer to support enterprise application delivery and ingress operations across AWS, AVI, Azure, DNS, certificates, routing, and edge security.

This hands-on role partners with cross-functional teams to monitor, troubleshoot, and implement changes following runbooks, with a path to broader platform ownership.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity or equivalent practical experience preferred.
• 2+ years in networking, cloud operations, load balancing, or similar.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, routing, and high-availability fundamentals.
• Experience troubleshooting production infrastructure using documented processes.
• Ability to follow change controls, runbooks, escalation procedures, and documentation standards.
• Strong learning agility, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ingress and edge platform health, alerts, capacity, and performance.
• Handle initial triage of connectivity, load balancing, DNS, certificates, routing, and traffic delivery.
• Follow runbooks to collect evidence, validate health, and escalate issues.
• Participate in incident response, maintenance, and on-call support.
• Maintain ticket updates, notes, and operational records.
