Job summary

NXP Semiconductors seeks an experienced AI product leader to own the NPU software product roadmap, spanning AI/ML compiler pipelines, optimization tools, runtime, SDKs, and eIQ integration. Qualifications

• 8+ years of AI product management experience with software or AI infrastructure.
• Ownership of a software product roadmap and developer-facing API surface.
• Strong understanding of deployment pipelines and inference runtimes.
• Familiarity with compiler toolchains and optimization techniques.
• Track record in open-source or partner ecosystem strategy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for developers and executives.
• Ability to define user metrics and adoption strategies.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the NPU software product roadmap across AI/ML pipeline, tools, runtime, and SDK.
• Create a scalable platform to support new model architectures and Day 0 support.
• Work with Engineering to close model support gaps and align with customers.
• Collaborate with GTM to prioritize verticals and enablement strategies.
• Support pre-sales and sales strategy for system-level solutions.
• Define a unified AI workflow and transition products to it.
• Monitor AI market trends and refine NXP AI strategy.
• Drive eIQ integration with Neutron compiler and SDK in the eIQ environment.
• Develop enablement and prioritize features for holistic UX.
• Own upstream compiler integration with TVM, MLIR/LLVM, ONNX Runtime, PyTorch/TensorFlow export paths.
• Define and maintain a model zoo with frontier models and publish results.
• Own the developer experience end-to-end from installation to deployment.
• Manage framework and ISV partnerships and drive NPU support contributions.
• Run beta programs with strategic developers and translate feedback.
• Define versioning policy and long-term support releases.
• Benchmark model coverage against competitors while maintaining usability.
• Maintain knowledge of firmware, PCIe and USB drivers.
• Develop end-to-end system software demos for industry events.
