Job summary

Quadric in Burlingame, CA is seeking a technically oriented professional to own the design-win journey from customer evaluation to silicon integration on the Chimera GPNPU. You’ll tackle quantization, custom kernels, and compiler work across the full stack, including on-site engagements with customers.

You will build reusable assets, guide model-architecture tradeoffs, and shape the product roadmap while partnering with engineering and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Strong C++ and Python; has written performance-critical code for a constrained target (DSP, NPU, GPU, or embedded SoC).
• Systems-level performance intuition — memory bandwidth, data movement, cycle-level reasoning.
• High agency and independent problem-solving; methodical and empirical.

Responsibilities

• Convert 2–3 active customer evaluations into committed design wins by getting workloads running at target latency and accuracy.
• Port customer workloads onto Chimera — architect, adapt, profile, and write custom kernels.
• Work on-site and remotely with customer engineering teams: debug failures, hit benchmark targets, guide model-architecture tradeoffs.
• Drive evaluations forward end-to-end: from initial technical conversation to design win.
• Codify learnings into reusable assets — SDK skills, porting playbooks, agentic content.
• Build applications and benchmark collateral that support future engagements.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to relay customer learnings and shape the roadmap.
• Contribute skills and playbooks to Quadric’s agentic FDE toolset.
• Become a trusted technical partner to customer teams, translating requirements into shipped results.
