Job summary

Quadric, based in Burlingame, CA, is redefining edge AI with a GPNPU. We seek Forward Deployed Engineers to drive customer evaluations into design wins, port workloads, and craft optimized kernels on Chimera.

You’ll work across quantization, custom kernels, and compiler tooling, influencing real‑world deployments in cars, cameras, and network devices. You will join a Series C startup with hands‑on ownership and frontier tooling, collaborating with customer teams to accelerate engagements and

Qualifications

• Strong C++ and Python; written performance-critical code for constrained targets (DSP, NPU, GPU, or embedded SoC).
• Systems-level performance intuition: memory bandwidth, data movement, cycle-level reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical path to design win from customer evaluation to silicon design.
• Port customer workloads onto Chimera; architect, adapt, profile, and write custom kernels as needed.
• Embed with customer engineering teams, on-site and remote collaborations to hit benchmarks and guide tradeoffs.
• Build reusable SDK skills and porting playbooks for faster future engagements.
• Contribute to Quadric's agentic FDE tooling and roadmap with engineering and product teams.
