Job summary

Quadric, based in Burlingame, CA, seeks a seasoned systems engineer to own foundational software layers for its GPNPU, including the simulator, loader/assembler, and debugger infrastructure. You will bridge high-level SDKs with custom hardware and own critical components of the toolchain.

You bring 5+ years in systems software, deep C++ (17/20), and a knack for memory management and clean abstractions, working across hardware and software teams to deliver low-latency APIs and robust driver

Qualifications

• 5+ years building systems software: simulators, toolchains, debuggers or low-level C++ libraries.
• Deep expertise in modern C++ (C++17/20) and systems programming.
• Strong memory management, ownership models and performance considerations.
• Ability to maintain clean abstractions for readable, scalable code.
• Experience at hardware/software boundaries in architecture projects.

Responsibilities

• Own and expand core components of our systems stack: Simulator, Loader/Assembler, Debugger, or C++ Host APIs.
• Develop and maintain low-level toolchains and interfaces to bridge SDKs with hardware.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to influence ISA and architecture decisions.
