Responsibilities include managing a full caseload, researching and drafting documents, negotiating lien reductions, and coordinating with defense attorneys, adjusters, and claims professionals while maintaining detailed case notes and billable hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years negotiating EDD and California Workers’ Compensation claims.
• Existing professional contacts with EDD representatives.
• Knowledge of California Workers’ Compensation law.
• Highly motivated, results-driven with a sense of urgency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of EDD lien files by reviewing claims and records.
• Research and prepare documents related to EDD liens and workers’ compensation matters.
• Negotiate reductions in amounts owed with EDD representatives.
• Coordinate with defense attorneys, adjusters, and claims professionals.
• Maintain detailed case notes and track deadlines through resolution.
• Enter billing notes and maintain required billable hours per client requirements.
• Represent the firm with professionalism, respect, and integrity.
