Job summary

Ericsson Austin seeks an experienced EDA Ecosystem Technical Project Manager to define and drive the tool ecosystem strategy across programs and engineering teams. You will orchestrate lifecycles, vendor partnerships, and cross-functional alignment to enable efficient EDA workflows.

You will influence multi-million-dollar investments, manage license portfolios, and coordinate across US and Europe. A strong background in RTL-to-GDSII and executive communication is required.

Qualifications

• Several years in semiconductor or EDA with methodology, infrastructure, vendor-facing, or tech program management.
• Understanding RTL-to-GDSII flow and ability to identify bottlenecks.
• Experience with multiple commercial EDA tools from major vendors.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate the EDA framework strategy: tool selection, flow requirements, vendor portfolio, and node enablement with CAD leaders.
• Develop a multi-year EDA capability roadmap aligned to the silicon product roadmap.
• Drive vendor negotiations, SOWs, and access agreements; manage cost and capacity.
• Monitor emerging technologies (AI/ML-enabled EDA, cloud-native solutions) and advise build-vs-buy decisions.
• Enable cross-site coordination and align enablement needs with CAD engineering leadership.
