Job summary

The position requires deep EDA/IC industry knowledge, 15+ years experience, and strong leadership across technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of the Electric Design Automation and IC industries.
• Experience bringing products/technologies to market in the EDA space.
• Ability to learn new tech areas to guide strategy development.
• Understanding of AI/ML and cloud in EDA/IC industries.
• Familiarity with Chiplets, 3D IC, photonics, IP, IoT trends.
• Experience with phase-gate project management and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and executives.

Responsibilities

• Refine and execute an EDA portfolio-wide product lifecycle process.
• Lead strategic analysis and proposal definition with multi-function teams.
• Maintain strategic maps showing industry landscape and trends.
• Advise on AI, ML, cloud, data analytics, and future tech directions.
• Identify opportunities with significant impact for IC and systems markets.
• Organize and coordinate strategic plans at regional or executive level.
• Lead cross-functional teams to create customer-focused strategies with financial impact.
• Advise executive management on long-term product/service portfolio development.
• Align with corporate initiatives on investment planning, NPI, release management, and licensing.
• Monitor BIS export controls and EU cyber resiliency regulations for strategic direction.
• Support go-to-market planning and integration of external opportunities.
