Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to support physicians and registered nurses in delivering technical patient care. Duties include phlebotomy, patient transport, monitoring vital signs, wound care, Foley catheter insertion, and occasional IV starts in accordance with state regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Assists physicians and RNs in phlebotomy, transporting patients, monitors, wound care, Foley catheter insertion, and IV starts when allowed.
• Documents procedures and promptly communicates observations to the RN.
• Processes daily patient charges through the EHR.
• Collaborates with physicians to coordinate communications for patient care.
• Maintains clean and safe working environment and adheres to safety policies.
• Monitors equipment and arranges repairs as needed.
• Performs patient positioning and transporting duties with proper technique.
• Provides age-appropriate care and adheres to department policies and procedures.
