Job summary

Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, AZ is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for a full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:00am), three 12-hour shifts per week. The role requires EMT-B or higher with state licensure or CNA, plus BLS certification.

The ED team provides care for adult and pediatric patients in a busy Level III Trauma Center with comprehensive services. You will assist in procedures, monitor vital signs, collect specimens, and support the ED staff while maintaining quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EMT-B or higher with state licensure or certification, or CNA in state of practice for new hires and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Perform ED procedures under supervision (EKG, wound cleansing, vital signs, monitor leads, specimen collection, transport).
• Assist with minor surgical or health procedures and apply basic orthopedic devices under physician direction.
• Communicate patient status to RN/MD and document in the medical record; assist with supply management and department coordination.
