Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Emergency Department at Osborn Medical Center in Scottsdale. This full-time night shift role supports nurses and paramedics in a high-acuity ED, with on-the-job training and opportunities to develop advanced skills.

Candidates with a HS diploma and healthcare exposure, with BLS, are encouraged. 3–12 hour night shifts, self-scheduling, and weekend/holiday rotations are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED - Required
• Block 1 in Nursing OR Medical Assistant OR Nursing Assistant OR EMT OR Behavioral Health Technician - Required
• 6 months of healthcare experience within the last year - Required
• 6 months in acute care experience - Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Preferred
• EMT - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides patient related care under supervision of a licensed caregiver.
• Assists with activities of daily living and vital signs.
• Documents care delivered and reports changes to licensed staff.
• Performs unit support duties and case-specific tasks as assigned.
• Participates in ongoing training to develop trauma support skills.

Education

Block 1 in Nursing OR MA OR CNA OR EMT OR BHT

6 months healthcare experience in last year

6 months acute care experience - Preferred
