Job summary

Osceola Medical Center in Wisconsin is seeking an ED Tech/HUC to provide cross-trained clinical and unit coordination support on the night shift across the Emergency Department, Med/Surg, and Obstetrics. Under RN and clinician direction, you will assist with patient care, emergency response, communication, and patient flow.

Tentative schedule is 6p-6a, with weekend and holiday rotation. Completion of a CNA/EMT/MA program and current BLS are required; Wisconsin CNA credential may be needed for

Qualifications

• Completion of a CNA, EMT, or medical assistant program, as accepted for the position by OMC.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active Wisconsin CNA credential when required for assigned CNA duties; HR will verify credential requirements.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department Patient Care and Clinical Support: Obtain and document vital signs and approved point-of-care testing; promptly report changes or concerns to the RN.
• Health Unit Coordination and Clerical Support: Answer calls, greet patients and visitors, and coordinate communication across ED, Med/Surg, and Obstetrics.
• Inpatient / Med-Surg and Obstetric Support: Provide delegated patient care on Med/Surg and support Obstetrics as trained, credentialed, and assigned.
