Job summary

Advocate Health Oshkosh is hiring for an Emergency Department Nursing Assistant on a full-time basis. The role supports physicians and the healthcare team, coordinates tests and documentation, and helps with patient transport and basic care.

Night shifts are 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, three nights per week, with rotating holidays and no weekend shifts currently but subject to change. Requires a High School Diploma and typically 1 year of experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) within 6 months if not already

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Typically requires 1 year experience.
• Proficient with basic computer systems and patient record workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and health care team with access to patient information and documentation.
• Coordinate tests and treatments across departments and document results.
• Facilitate communications via phone, paging, and hospital systems; screen calls.
• Operate patient info systems, process charges, and support unit supply orders.
• Provide patient care support including phlebotomy, transport, monitors, and IV starts where allowed.
