Job summary

Osceola Medical Center seeks an ED Tech/HUC for overnight coverage. You will support ED, Med/Surg, and Obstetrics under RN direction, assisting with patient care, emergency response, and communication to maintain patient flow.

Role requires completion of a CNA/EMT/MA program, BLS certification, and proficiency with electronic health records, medical terminology, and professional communication.

Qualifications

• Completion of a CNA, EMT, or medical assistant program as accepted for the position.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Active Wisconsin CNA credential when required for assigned duties; verification will occur.
• Computer and electronic health record skills, medical terminology, accurate documentation, and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department patient care and clinical support under RN direction.
• Assist with hygiene, mobility, transfers, and patient comfort and transport.
• Prepare rooms, equipment, and assist with examinations and procedures.
• Use EMR to support patient flow, documentation, scheduling, and records processing.
• Coordinate communication across ED, Med/Surg, and Obstetrics with confidentiality.
