Waypoint, in Sanford, Maine, seeks an Ed Tech III to deliver 1:1 instruction to children in Pre-K through 5th grade with autism and developmental disabilities within a clinically intensive school-based program, under supervision of Certified Special Education Teachers and BCBAs.
This role uses Applied Behavior Analysis, collaborates with OT/PT/Speech, and may involve driving with parental permission for goals or transitions to public schools.

Waypoint offers comprehensive services, including a special purpose Pre-K through Grade 5 private school for children with autism and other developmental disabilities, case management and outpatient therapy services for adults and children, and residential and in-home supports for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Under the supervision and ongoing support of Certified Special Education Teachers and Board Certified Behavior Analysts, the Ed Tech III provides 1:1 direct instruction in social, behavioral, emotional, functional, and academic skills within an Applied Behavior Analysis model; also works along with related service providers in OT, PT, and Speech. Driving students on occasion with parent permission, as part of student goals and/or transition plans to public schools.
We will facilitate obtaining these certifications, and provide paid BHP training, for candidates in need of these certifications
