Spurwink in Auburn, ME, is hiring an Education Technician III to collaborate with teachers and support youth with behavioral, emotional, and developmental challenges in K-8 classrooms. This is a full-time position with a 28-day summer program and a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

The role includes orientation at Spurwink's training center in Lewiston and placement based on experience. Compensation starts at $22.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on credentials and experience.

Qualifications

• Maine DOE Educational Technician III certification by earning a bachelor's degree (preferred) or minimum of 90 college credits.
• Full-time role during the school year and a 28-day summer program.

This is your opportunity to support youth with behavioral, emotional, and developmental challenges as they strive to learn. Spurwink is hiring Ed. Tech. III to collaborate with teachers and become an integral part of our special needs classrooms.

This is a full-time position spanning the regular school year, as well as a 28-day summer program. Classroom placements are based upon skill and experience, and all new hires are provided with a two-week orientation at Spurwink's training center in Lewiston. This position pays between $22.00-$24.00 per hour based on experience and other job criteria.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Our Ed Tech III must have, or be eligible for, Maine Department of Education Educational Technician III certification by having earned a bachelor's degree (preferred) or by having earned a minimum of 90 college credits (required).
