Woodfords Family Services in Maine is hiring a School-Based Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) to support students in public schools. You will work with educators and clinical teams to address behavioral, social, emotional, and developmental goals, in a cooperative, strengths-based approach.

This full-time role offers 30–35 hours weekly, with an hourly pay of $20.00–$22.00 depending on experience. A minimum of 90 college credits is required to qualify for Ed Tech III certification, with

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in psychology, social services, education, or related field preferred
• BHP certification preferred but not required with training provided
• Valid driver's license with current auto insurance and reliable vehicle

We’re hiring full-time BHPs to support students in public school settings across Central Maine, with current openings in Turner, Leeds, and Greene (MSAD 52).

Candidates must hold a minimum of 90 college credits to be eligible for the Ed Tech III certification - Woodfords will provide!

Position Summary

As a School-Based BHP, you’ll provide individualized, strengths-based support to students in public school settings. Working collaboratively with educators and clinical teams, you will:

• Support students’ behavioral, social, emotional, and developmental goals

• Implement evidence-based behavioral health interventions

• Promote positive coping skills, routines, and independence

• Foster a safe, therapeutic, and engaging learning environment

• Adapt supports based on each student’s unique needs

Opportunity Details

• Full-Time: 30–35 hours per week
