Job summary

Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick, ME, is hiring an Emergency Department Technician for a night shift, 7p–7a. The role provides clinical support under ED clinicians to meet patient needs and care requirements. Bonuses apply for limited-time offers and prorate for part-time positions.

Qualified candidates hold EMT-P/EMT-A/EMT-B/LPN/CNA licenses and a current or 30‑day‑within requirement for BLS certification. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with basic computer skills helpful for daily

0-1 years of experience eligible for $2,500 (full time)

1+ years of experience eligible for $4,000 (full time)

Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time positions. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

Current Maine Health member employees are ineligible; former Maine Health Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Summary

This is a night shift position, 7p-7a.

The Emergency Department Technician – MCH role works under the clinical supervision of Emergency Department clinicians to assure patient’s needs and care requirements are met.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: High School graduate or GED preferred.
  • License/Certifications: EMT-P, EMT-A, EMT-B, LPN, or CNA license required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.

The pay range for this position is $20.27 to $24.36 per hour.
