Adena Health System is seeking an ED Technician for the Emergency Department. This full-time 90% position involves direct patient care, assisting with procedures, and clerical duties under RN supervision in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR within 90 days, and EMT-Basic coursework or active nursing program enrollment. Phlebotomy experience and higher EMS credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR within 90 days of hire; De-escalation training within 90 days and annually; ESI Course within 90 days of hire; Basic Telemetry within 90 days.
• EMT-Basic coursework (or active enrollment in accredited nursing program).
• Preferred: Phlebotomy and ED patient care experience; EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic training.

Responsibilities

• The Emergency Department (ED) Technician provides basic care for patients across the lifespan within the Emergency Department.
• Responsibilities include direct patient care, assisting with procedures, clerical duties, and supply maintenance.
