Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas seeks an Emergency Department Technician to support patient care in a busy ED/urgent care setting. You will assist nurses and physicians, document vital signs, and help with basic procedures during a 12-hour night shift per two-week cycle in Encinitas.
Ideal candidates have at least one year in acute care and relevant EMT/CNA and BLS certifications. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies.

Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas’ campus includes Scripps Clinic Encinitas and an outpatient imaging center. We’re home to notable specialty programs including a 24-hour emergency room, accredited stroke care, physical rehabilitation services (including a brain injury day treatment program), our Baby Friendly birthing pavilion and a Level II neonatal intensive care unit.
Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) – Full Time
Schedule: 72 hours per 2-week pay period | 12-hour Night shift (including weekends)

As an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech), you will play a vital role in supporting patient care within the emergency department or urgent care setting. Working under the supervision of nurses and physicians, you will assist with essential clinical and operational tasks to ensure efficient, high-quality care.
