Job summary

Scripps Mercy Chula Vista is seeking an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) to support patient care in the fast-paced ED/Urgent Care setting. You will work under nurses and physicians, assisting with clinical tasks and ensuring efficient patient flow.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, collecting specimens, transporting patients, and covering unit secretary duties when needed.

Qualifications

• Certification as EMT (EMT, AEMT or Paramedic) or CNA
• BLS Healthcare Provider Certification through American Heart Association

Schedule: 72 hours per 2-week pay period | 12-hour Day shifts (including weekends)

As an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech), you will play a vital role in supporting patient care within the emergency department or urgent care setting.
