Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking an ED Tech at Fairfield Hospital to support nursing staff with direct patient care under supervision. The role emphasizes compassionate service, accurate documentation, and liaison between patients and care teams.

You will assist with vital signs, mobility, specimen collection, ECGs and basic wound care while maintaining safety and quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and EMR familiarity preferred; EMS exposure helpful.
• Ability to perform patient care tasks under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under RN guidance and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist with mobility, vital signs, lab draws, ECGs, wound care.
• Document care accurately and participate in handoff reports.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and empathetic communication.
