Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an ED Tech for Southside Regional Medical Center on a PRN basis. The role assists with direct patient care under an RN, documents care, and supports patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced environment.

Required is a High School Diploma or GED with preferred BLS and EMR/EMT or Medical Assisting credentials. The job emphasizes teamwork, communication, and compassionate patient care across related units.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred/open to obtain after hire.
• EMR/EMT or Medical Assisting certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN guidance.
• Record patient data and document care accurately.
• Assist with mobility, vital signs, lab draws, ECGs and basic wound care.
• Ensure patient safety and act as liaison with nursing staff.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to patients and families.
