Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Off Campus Emergency Department in Parkland. This 0.75 FTE, day-shift role involves 12-hour shifts with alternating weekends, providing ED nursing care in a community hospital setting.

The ideal candidate has ED experience, WA RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS/PALS and NRP within 90 days are required. Sign-on and relocation bonuses may be offered along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or MLS.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS.
• NRP required within 90 days of hire.
• Two years RN ER or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and health care team.
• Advocate for ethical, holistic care for diverse patients.
