Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, families, and visitors in the Emergency Room with professionalism and empathy.
• Register patients accurately, collecting demographic, insurance, and financial details.
• Obtain signatures on consent forms and privacy notices per policy.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits using electronic tools and payer contact.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, or deposits and explain financial assistance options.
• Maintain and update patient data in the EMR and registration systems.
• Respond to inquiries promptly and maintain professional standards.
