The ideal candidate holds a current RN license with CPR and ACLS, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and at least 2 years of management experience, plus 3–5 years in Med/Surg/Telemetry.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state; CPR and ACLS certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or higher preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years clinical experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry.
• At least 2 years of management experience.
• Strong decision-making, accuracy, computer skills, and ability to work under deadlines.
• Excellent communication, self-motivation, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage departmental operations, enforce policies, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate nursing staff; participate in hiring and performance management.
• Develop and monitor budgets, control costs, and oversee supply/resource management.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care tailored to patients’ physical, psychological, social, and educational needs.
• Ensure high-quality patient care, monitor service performance, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain department readiness, lead staff meetings, and contribute to special projects.
• Coordinate staffing schedules, guide staff development, and manage employee performance.
