Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Current State of Texas license to practice professional nursing required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Two years of nursing experience required.
• One year education related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Executes educational experiences to promote competent, quality patient care.
• Supports clinical staff in acquiring knowledge and skills for professional development.
• Develops educational content and programs for various learning methods.
• Applies Nursing Professional Development standards into practice.
• Collaborates with learners and stakeholders using effective communication.
• Promotes evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives.
• Coaches and provides feedback to preceptors and orientees; monitors orientation progress.
• Ensures safety and adherence to Memorial Hermann policies, within budget, productivity and service quality.
• Fosters staff growth and alignment with department goals; serves as a resource to staff.
