Job summary

You will support clinical staff and learners, report to the campus leadership in clinical education, and contribute to ongoing professional development initiatives.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Nursing, current Texas license or compact status, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• Current Texas nursing license or temporary/compact license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Two years nursing experience required.
• One year education-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs competency management through needs assessment, gap analysis and monitoring of compliance.
• Develops and disseminates fundamental educational content and programs using various learning methods.
• Applies Nursing Professional Development scope and standards in practice.
• Coaches and provides feedback to preceptors and orientees and assesses orientation progress.
• Supports safe patient care and collaborates with learners and stakeholders.
