Memorial Hermann Health System seeks an experienced nurse educator to develop and deliver educational programs that promote competent patient care. You will support clinical staff and learners, report to the campus leadership in clinical education, and contribute to ongoing professional development initiatives.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Nursing, current Texas license or compact status, and BLS certification.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• Current Texas nursing license or temporary/compact license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Two years nursing experience required.
• One year education-related experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs competency management through needs assessment, gap analysis and monitoring of compliance.
• Develops and disseminates fundamental educational content and programs using various learning methods.
• Applies Nursing Professional Development scope and standards in practice.
• Coaches and provides feedback to preceptors and orientees and assesses orientation progress.
• Supports safe patient care and collaborates with learners and stakeholders.
