Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs seeks an experienced healthcare leader to direct ED night operations, oversee staffing, patient flow, and performance improvement initiatives. The role emphasizes staff development, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with physicians and administration.

This position requires a BSN, California RN license (maintain), current BLS/ACLS, and 3+ years clinical leadership.

Qualifications

• California RN License (maintain current at all times).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).
• Must complete EKG test within the first 30 days of hire.
• Must complete NIHSS within the first 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and management ability.
• Previous management experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead telemetry staff and interventional cardiology protocols.
• Manage HR responsibilities including hiring and evaluations.
• Ensure unit-specific orientation and ongoing staff development.
• Coordinate staffing and shift scheduling and flow within the ED.
• Collaborate with Director on department goals and PI initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
