Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced ED RN leader with at least 5 years of bedside ED experience. This leadership role focuses on mentoring, quality improvement, and clinical expertise in the Emergency Department at the Thomas Campus ED.

Evening shift 2:00pm–12:00am, four 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday. A BSN or graduate degree is required, plus national certification or plan to attain one within 6 months (CCRN, CEN, or CPN).

Qualifications

• BSN or graduate degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct bedside ED experience.
• Must hold national certification or plan to obtain within 6 months (CCR N, CEN or CPN).

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership in the ED to improve patient outcomes.
• Mentor and support bedside nurses and promote best practice.
• Lead quality improvement and safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to standardize care.
• Support evidence-based practice translation and education.
