Job summary

Phoenix Children's seeks a Clinical Nurse Attending for the Emergency Department to lead bedside care with a focus on mentoring, safety and quality improvements. The role requires at least 5 years of ED bedside experience, a BSN or higher, and a national certification or eligibility to attain one within 6 months.

Evening shifts are from Monday to Friday, 2:00pm–12:00am, with opportunities to influence practice at the bedside.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of direct bedside experience in Emergency Department.
• Must hold BSN or graduate degree.
• National certification or open to attaining one within 6 months (CCRN/CEN/CPN).
• Evening shift availability: Mon-Fri 2:00pm-12:00am; leadership focused on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship for bedside nurses in the ED.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and drive evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and safety.
• Support change initiatives to align practice with standards of care.
