Job summary

Essen Health Care is hiring a eClinicalWorks (eCW) System Analyst in New York. You will manage healthcare technology projects, implement and optimize the eCW EHR, and collaborate with clinical, administrative, and revenue cycle teams to improve workflows and maintain compliance.

Responsibilities include configuring eCW modules, leading implementations, providing Tier 2/3 support, and ensuring data integrity while supporting regulatory reporting and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare IT or related field.
• 3–5+ years of hands-on eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience.
• Strong knowledge of clinical workflows and ambulatory EHR systems.
• eCW certification preferred.
• Experience with HL7 interfaces or API integrations.
• Familiarity with revenue cycle workflows.
• Experience with telehealth and patient engagement tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory programs (MIPS, HEDIS).
• Proven cross‑functional team and vendor management.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure, build, and maintain eCW modules including workflows and templates.
• Optimize workflows to improve provider efficiency and documentation quality.
• Lead and support eCW implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Coordinate requirements gathering, testing, and go-live support.
• Manage system changes using structured change management processes.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership, revenue cycle, IT, and integration teams.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and clinical users.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support and troubleshoot issues.
• Support integrations with labs, radiology, pharmacies, and telehealth.
• Work with APIs, HL7 interfaces, and data exchange processes.
• Develop and maintain reports; ensure data integrity and quality.
• Support regulatory compliance and operational analytics.
