Job summary

eClinicalWorks is seeking a Software Training Specialist in Oklahoma City to train doctors and clinical staff on the eCW software and associated billing workflows, traveling to client sites and delivering one-on-one coaching and classroom sessions.

The candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, or IS (Master’s preferred), 2–5 years in healthcare training, and be able to travel 50–75% across the US, with certification as an eCW Professional after training.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years’ experience in healthcare industry, preferably in training and implementation of EMR systems.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% per month across the 50 US states.
• Must become an eCW Certified Professional after initial training.

Responsibilities

• Train end users (doctors and clinical staff) on eCW software and related functionalities via one-on-one coaching and classroom instruction.
• Develop workflow processes.
• Demonstrate software to clients, make suggestions, and provide training.
• Escalate issues to Project Managers for prompt resolution.
• Prepare reports (e.g., checklists, expense reports).
• Document all training sessions.

Software Training Specialist

Candidates that have Billing, ER & pharmacy experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client sites and train end users (doctors and clinical staff) on eCW software and ancillary functionalities via one-on-one coaching and classroom instruction
• Develop Workflow processes
• Demonstrate the software to client practice, make suggestions and provide training
• Communicate/escalate issues to Project Managers to promptly and effectively address issues
• Prepare various reports such as Checklist & Expense Report
• Document all training sessions
• Other duties as assigned

Other Skills/Abilities

• Exceptional customer service orientation while being detail oriented
• Exceptional communications (oral & written) skills
• Ability to coach and train diverse group of people
• Knowledge of MySQL, Windows Office suite, computer networking, and insurance-based physician billing
• Ability to deal with stressful situations with a professional demeanor
• Basic knowledge of technical terminologies
• Adept at multi-tasking and exceling in a fast-paced environment
• Bi-Lingual/Multi-Lingual a plus
• To be able to coach and train diverse group of people
• Must become an eCW Certified Professional at completion of initial training

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering , Computer Science (CS) or Information Systems (IS). Master’s degree is preferred
• 2 - 5 years’ experience in healthcare industry, preferably in training and implementation of Project Management or EMR systems
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be willing to travel an average of 50% - 75% per month to anywhere in the 50 US states
• The candidate must be able to meet operational and logistical requirements associated with this role
• Remote – Regional home base Time zone needed at the time of hire

Compensation

Salary Range - $60,000 - $70,000 USD

The salary for employees hired into this role will be aligned with the range above, exclusive of potential bonuses. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as professional background, skills, education, and experience.
