Job summary

The Community Health Center of Buffalo Inc. seeks an experienced eClinicalWorks Analyst to support the EHR/PM system. This on-site role collaborates with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to maintain system integrity, optimize workflows, and ensure regulatory compliance in a Buffalo-based facility.

You will configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade eCW modules, develop templates and reports, and provide end-user training. Experience with Healow and data extraction is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in health IT or related field.
• 2+ years of eClinicalWorks EHR experience in healthcare.
• Expertise configuring and managing Healow app ecosystem.
• Experience with complex eCW cloud migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of clinical workflows in primary care, behavioral health, and dental settings.
• Ability to create training materials and lead staff trainings.
• Understanding of clinical workflows, medical terminology, and quality programs.
• Proficiency with eCW reporting modules and SQL or data extraction tools.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Certification in eClinicalWorks or other relevant EHR training programs.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot eClinicalWorks EHR and PM systems.
• Analyze clinical and operational workflows to optimize eCW usage.
• Provide support for templates, order sets, and documentation tools.
• Conduct needs assessments and design customized solutions within eCW.
• Customize templates, forms, and reports within eCW.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure eCW supports patient care and compliance.
• Support system upgrades, patches, testing, and training initiatives.
• Assist in rollout of new eCW modules and updates including Healow and eCW Messenger.
• Create and maintain training materials and conduct provider/staff trainings.
• Analyze data for reporting and quality improvement using eCW reports or analytics tools.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide end-user support.
• Coordinate with labs, billing systems, and other integrated tools.
• Maintain HIPAA and HRSA compliance; develop SOPs and user documentation.
