Job summary

Henry County Public Schools is seeking a Special Population Paraprofessional (ECSE) to support students under the guidance of the Principal and classroom staff. The role focuses on creating a conducive environment for academic, social, and emotional development and involves supervising students in various settings.

Key duties include assisting with instructional planning, maintaining records, and implementing safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of District policies and procedures.
• Skill in effective communication, both verbally and in writing.
• Skill in the use of computers for data entry, word processing, and/or accounting purposes.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning a program of study that meets student needs in line with IEP.
• Meets and instructs students at designated times.
• Assist in development, selection and modification of instructional plans and materials.
