Job summary

Eagle County School District seeks a dedicated ECSE paraprofessional to support preschool students with disabilities in inclusive classrooms. You will provide instructional, behavioral and health support under the guidance of licensed staff and collaborate with the IEP team to collect data and track progress.

The role emphasizes promoting safety, independence, participation, and belonging while maintaining student dignity and privacy in all activities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Pass required background checks and Colorado licensing requirements.
Complete first aid, CPR and other required trainings within set timelines.
Bilingual English/Spanish skills are valued.

Responsibilities

Provide direct instruction and reinforce academic goals and IEP objectives under supervision.
Implement teacher-directed lessons and supports including visuals, sensory strategies, and assistive tech.
Promote independence, communication, play, participation and positive behavior throughout the day.
Actively supervise students in and out of the classroom and during activities.
Assist with health plans, emergencies, feeding, toileting, hygiene, and personal care.
Collaborate with IEP teams and collect accurate progress data.
