Job summary

Sieda Community Action is seeking an Economic Support Specialist I for the Jefferson County office in Fairfield. The role covers LIHEAP, ECIP, and resource/referral services with occasional travel to surrounding counties. Works Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of public-facing experience. Preferred candidates have some college or vocational training and basic computer skills to operate program software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some College or vocational/technical training preferred.
• 1 year of experience working with the public.
• Prefer knowledge of issues surrounding persons experiencing poverty.
• Moderate level computer knowledge; can use program software with minimal training.

Responsibilities

• Operate daily economic programs (LIHEAP, ECIP) in the county resource centers.
• Open/close Resource Center in outer counties as needed.
• Refer clients to community resources to address barriers.
• Travel within service area counties for coverage as required.
