Job summary

Louisiana Department of Health seeks an Economic Stability Supervisor to lead a team determining eligibility for SNAP, FITAP, and KCSP. You will guide staff, monitor workloads, and ensure accurate, timely processing while maintaining compliance with state and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Six years of economic stability social services experience OR six years in any field plus three years in economic stability work.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three years of economic stability experience OR advanced degree plus two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee staff determining eligibility for SNAP, FITAP, and KCSP.
• Assign, prioritize, and monitor workloads to ensure timely processing.
• Review casework for accuracy and compliance with state/federal laws.
• Train and coach staff to improve performance and program knowledge.
• Monitor operations to reduce delays, errors, and backlog.
• Resolve customer and staff issues to maintain service quality.
