Xiente in Philadelphia is seeking an Economic Mobility Counselor to help families build financial stability. You will assess needs, craft personalized action plans, and connect clients with training, housing counseling, and supportive services.

This full-time, on-site role offers orientation, caseload independence after training, and collaboration with local organizations. Strong English and bilingual skills are valued to serve diverse families in the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in social work, counseling, finance or related field.
• Experience in counseling or social services preferred.
• Experience with Head Start, Early Head Start, or housing counseling programs preferred.
• Fluency in English; bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify clients' economic challenges and goals.
• Develop and implement action plans to help clients achieve financial stability.
• Provide one-on-one counseling to guide financial decisions.
• Connect clients with job training, education, and community resources.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Lead workshops on financial literacy and career development.
• Maintain accurate records per policies.
• Collaborate with community organizations to improve services.
