Job summary

Xiente in Philadelphia, PA seeks an Economic Mobility Concierge to guide participants through workforce development, create personalized employment plans, and connect them with training and housing resources. You will conduct assessments, provide ongoing coaching, document progress in CWDS, and collaborate with employers and community partners to remove barriers and promote long-term self-sufficiency.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred in various related fields.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in workforce development, employment services, case management, human services, or related field.
  • Experience using the CWDS.
  • Strong understanding of workforce development programs, participant engagement, and case management practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple participant caseloads with accuracy.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist participants in accessing resources related to housing, transportation, childcare, financial stability, and other barriers to employment.
  • Stay informed about workforce development trends, community resources, and regulatory updates affecting service delivery.

What You'll Do

As an Economic Mobility Concierge, you will:

  • Stay informed about workforce development trends, community resources, and regulatory updates affecting service delivery.

Required


  • Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred in:

    • Social Work

    • Human Services

    • Psychology

    • Counseling

    • Workforce Development

    • Public Administration

    • Education

    • Criminal Justice

    • Or a related field



  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in workforce development, employment services, case management, human services, or a related field.

  • Experience using the Commonwealth Workforce Development System (CWDS).

  • Strong understanding of workforce development programs, participant engagement, and case management practices.

  • Experience maintaining accurate records and documentation while managing multiple participant caseloads.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management databases.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Commitment to serving diverse populations and individuals facing barriers to employment.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience working within:

    • WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act)

    • TANF

    • EARN

    • SNAP Employment & Training

    • Other workforce development programs



  • Knowledge of employment barriers, supportive services, and economic mobility strategies.

  • Experience with audits, compliance reviews, monitoring activities, and quality assurance.


Required Background Clearances & Compliance

Candidates must be able to successfully obtain, pass, and maintain:



  • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Clearance

  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance

  • FBI Fingerprint-Based Criminal Background Check (if applicable)

  • National Sex Offender Registry (NSOR) Clearance

  • Agency, state, federal, and funding source background screening requirements

  • Current health assessment/physical examination and immunization documentation, as required

  • Ability to maintain all required clearances and compliance standards throughout employment
