Economic Mobility Counselor

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess clients’ financial situations, including income, expenses, debts, and assets
  • Develop tailored action plans to help clients improve budgeting, savings, credit management, and employment opportunities
  • Connect clients with community resources, job training programs, and financial education services
  • Monitor client progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure sustainable economic mobility
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation
  • Collaborate with community organizations, employers, and other stakeholders to support client success
  • Stay informed about current economic trends, social services, and relevant policies affecting clients

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Economics, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree

  • Knowledge of financial literacy, budgeting, credit repair, and employment resources
