Job summary

The Hair Shop is looking for a growth-minded Director of Ecommerce to lead our online business into its next chapter. You will own the growth strategy, P&L, and hands-on execution for our DTC site, with a focus on Shopify expertise, CRO, merchandising, and customer experience.

You will also oversee the Amazon channel and manage two direct reports plus external partners. Expect collaboration with Marketing, Creative, and Retention teams and a data-driven approach using GA4 and heatmaps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ecommerce experience with leadership ownership over a website channel.
• Proven track record of achieving double-digit YoY growth in online/DTC.
• Expert hands-on Shopify experience (Plus preferred) and app/theme management.
• Experience managing Amazon listings, ads, and marketplace growth tactics.
• Strong CRO methodology with familiarity in A/B testing and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own growth strategy and P&L for online channel with double-digit YoY targets.
• Lead the direct-to-consumer site, including merchandising, UX, CRO, and AOV optimization.
• Oversee Amazon as a secondary channel: listings, advertising, inventory, growth.
• Set and execute site growth roadmap, UX improvements, and checkout optimization.
• Lead CRO program: prioritize, run, and analyze tests with design/dev partnership.
• Be the internal Shopify expert: platform roadmap, theme/app ecosystem, performance.
• Own onsite merchandising and content strategy for consumer and professional segments.
• Collaborate with Marketing/Creative/Retention to optimize landing experiences.
• Use GA4, Shopify analytics, heatmaps to build reporting and prioritization.
• Manage two direct reports plus external agency and dev partners.
• Own testing/QA for new features and campaigns to minimize downtime.
• Stay ahead of ecommerce/trends and provide actionable recommendations.
